Costa Rica Tarrazu San Rafael


Costa Rica boasts all the conditions for coffee crops – a tropical climate and volcanic soil with an amazing effect on the flavors. Tarrazu is the region from which most of the quality coffee in the country originates; as noted, the micro-climate, the volcanic soil and the plantations’ altitude offer all the conditions for exceptional coffee.

Costa Rican coffee exhibits the classic coffee aroma. Full bodied coffee with fermented acidity that is reminiscent of citrus or berries.


Altitude: 1,200 – 2,000 meters above sea level

Variety: Arabica - Caturra, Catuaí

Flavors: Fruity acidity and hits of sparkling wine, nutmeg and hazelnut

Body: Full and Balanced
