Panama Boquete
The coffee farm is adjacent to the picturesque town of Boquete located on the banks of the Caldera River in the green mountainous region of Panama. The farm is near the volcano Volcan Baru which is the highest point in Panama. Boquete is an ideal growing area for coffee due to its altitude (1,200 meters above sea level), the cool climate, the volcanic soil, and the temperature.
The coffee has a strong aroma, wine notes and a combination of chocolate, caramel, and nuts that is unique to the terroir of Panama. It has a subtle and almost imperceptible acidity.
